Ball Lock Pins

Ball lock pins enable quick and secure alignment, fastening and changing of parts and workpieces. The two balls at the end of the shaft are disengaged by pushing the button, allowing the pin to be inserted into place. Upon releasing the button, the balls are locked out, securing the pin in place. Because of the design of the mechanism, ball lock pins are positive locking and the accidental release of the pin virtually impossible.
Ball lock pins are also known as positive lock pins and quick release pins.

Ball lock pins with plastic grip “modern style”

A comfortable and good looking thermoplastic grip is combined with the durability of an all-stainless steel pin. Available in inch and metric versions.

Ball lock pins, stainless steel

For durability and heat resistance, chose from several styles of all-stainless-steel ball lock pins. The button head style features a flared, easy to grasp head. Available in inch and metric versions.

Ball lock pins, T and L grip

Durable, all metal construction makes the T and L grip plungers a natural choice. With stainless steel pins and aluminum grips, these pins perform in challenging conditions. Available in metric sizes.

Expand the application possibilities for ball lock pins by using ball lock pin bushings. They allow a ball lock pin to be used in blind holes or places where the pin can’t protrude. An assortment of split rings, retaining cables, lanyards, and spiral cables are also available.
