Made in Germany for high quality, KIPP ball plungers are available in steel or stainless steel. Ball plungers are especially suited to indexing and detent applications, and are available in inch or metric threads with a slotted or hex drive body.
Slotted Ball Plungers
Slotted ball plungers are made with a one piece body with a screwdriver slot on the bottom. The spring and ball are then inserted, and the top is crimped to retain the ball. Because of the one-piece body, they can be manufactured in shorter lengths than hex drive plungers.

Hexagon Socket Ball Plungers
Hexagon socket ball plungers are made with a two-piece body: the threaded cylinder of the walls and a hexagon socket that is inserted into the bottom and glued into place. The hexagon socket offers a more secure and precise method of installation (versus a screwdriver slot), but the tradeoff is a plunger with a longer body, due to the added length of the socket.
