Pin plungers feature a greater travel than ball plungers, and are often used in detent, indexing, ejection, or cushioning applications. Manufactured in Germany for the highest quality, KIPP pin plungers are available with steel or stainless steel bodies and pins in steel, stainless steel, or plastic. |

Hexagon Socket Pin Plungers
A hexagon socket at the bottom enables the use of a hex wrench for more control during installation. Because of the length of the socket, hexagon plungers tend to be longer than slotted plungers. A slot is also cut into the top for installations where there is no access the back. An optional assembly key should be used to prevent damage to the nose of the pin. |

Push-pull plungers can be used in a wide variety of applications, for detent, positioning, or clamping. On one end, a threaded connection that can be used to attach a mechanical linkage. The linkage can pull on the plunger to clamp and release as needed, or the plunger can push on the linkage, actuating a switch or some other mechanical action. On the other end, a round or conical tip can be used for positioning or clamping. A version with female threads on both ends can be used as a spring pressure element in a linkage, or a custom tip can be screwed onto one end. |
